For the Watchers and Dreamers
I got some really nice news yesterday! Four of six quilts I entered in QuiltCon 2017 have been accepted to the show. I thought I'd kind of spread the news out just for fun and also because I only have a few minutes to post today. So, the first one accepted was For the Watchers and Dreamers which was previously posted about here and here. While this was always intended for my book club, I also always secretly hoped it would go to QuiltCon. I have had in mind a series of quilts inspired by bird eyes. They'd be modern and abstract and arty and it might be hard to even tell they were bird eyes. This one is pretty obvious though. I'm not sure I'll make the rest of the series, but you never know. I will post about the next three as I get a chance over the next week, and I'll also post the two that didn't get in. Stay tuned!
