This is Chloe's third year of NaNoWriMo- National Novel Writing Month (the goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in a month). She's so excited to do this and I'm amazed someone so young can accomplish this once, let alone every year since she was 12! At first she planned a Star Trek novel, but a week or so ago things changed and now it involves a research vessel and I don't know what all. I can't wait to read it! The ironic thing is that her computer started acting funny just in time for the first day of NaNoWriMo yesterday and she was forced to start working on her novel at my computer. Today we discovered that the keyboard of her laptop is malfunctioning, so Mark got her an external keyboard to use until we decide what to do about it. Last I heard she was past the 4000 word mark. Way to go Chloe!
