Sorry for the unintended blogging break. It's been an overwhelming last couple of weeks with many projects I've been working on that weren't really my favorite type of sewing.

Both of which were quite sporting last Saturday for our town's Veteran's Day Parade.
On Sunday, just as I was ready to start some holiday sewing, my sewing machine started doing funny things. There is a major problem with the bobbin tension. I believe this is related to a bad service job several months ago, but of course, I can't find the receipt. I took it into the other fix-it shop in town and they won't be able to get it back until next week (when we are gone) so I've got my Mom's machine and will try to figure it out tomorrow and see if I can get something done! What a bummer to lose your machine when you've got deadlines.
I'm heading to Portland with Chloe for Thursday and Friday, then it's off to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving, so blogging will be sporadic at best. Have a great holiday! I'll be having a birthday right after Thanksgiving!
