Cape Cod breezes, Part 1

We had a great time on our trip to New England, starting with 5 days on Cape Cod.  We were visiting Mark's parents who have a fabulous little house just a couple of blocks from the beach.  We headed to beach right away and had a great time.  Ryan got to work building on the beach, while Chloe endeavored to keep her cast dry by beach combing.

You just can't keep an artist from creating!

We finally got to the Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich and had a great time.

This replica of a Shaker Round Barn was built just to house a vintage car collection.

This formerly working windmill was moved to the site from Orleans, MA where it had been used for 93 years grinding wheat, rye, barley and salt from the local salt works.

We did a labyrinth even though it was about 95 in the shade.

There are several different indoor museums on the grounds and we went to them all even just to enjoy the air conditioning. This antique carousel was a highlight.  I just love them!

More to come!
