Cloth 2 Cloth 2 is nearly finished, but I'm not nearly finished with the cloth weaving! This technique is too much fun. I think it will be a permanent part of my repertoire. Above is a technique called the shift. Below, this piece is done with anchored weaving similar to what you might have done with paper in grade school.
This piece is very special, made with cotton lawn and silk gauze. It's lighter than air. It's stitched all over with just a simple running stitch to hold it together. It will be incorporated into something else someday.
Lastly, these are simple little weavings to use as fillers in something bigger. They are a great way to use up leftovers and small scraps.
