We had a marvelous day, made better by the incredible weather we are having. This week it's in the 70's and will get into the 80's in a couple of days! It doesn't get any better than that for Indian Summer. I love it!
Ryan's birthday was an occasion to take the grandparents, who are visiting from Massachusetts, to the high lakes. We drove up this afternoon and it was just as warm at 6000 feet as down here at 3800. We skipped stones and admired the views.
Chloe, Ryan and I worked on Ryan's cake while Dad and Grammy made homemade pizza. It was Chloe's idea to take advantage of the cake breakage when coming up with this design.
He also enjoys the additions to his new Rokenbok set. What a great day!
