We leave tomorrow for a 10 day trip to New England. My husband and I both grew up there and his family still lives in Massachusetts. We visit them every year and usually make a trip to see friends in New Hampshire and Cape Cod. This year we are also making a trek to Nantucket for the first time. I can't wait! I've wanted to go there ever since reading Ahab's Wife. It's a marvelous story mostly set in Nantucket and includes many historical references.
Anyway, today has been a flurry of housecleaning and packing. I finished two more blanket squares for Annie's project, but I forgot to take a photo of them! I also managed to finish the baby quilt to send to my cousin Heidi's baby born in July!
