I needed some new potholders and whipped a couple up last weekend. I used Warm & Natural's Insul-Bright which is recommended for oven mitts. I think it's a bit thin for my taste, so if I make more I would probably add an extra layer of thin batting. I do really like these though. I think they'd make a great Christmas gift. I also tried doing a machine stitched binding on the second one. This was a good exercise for me and a reason to try more of them. They certainly make good use of scraps.
