The courtyard of the Clearwater Gallery is a favorite stop for everyone visiting the show. The Central Oregon SAQA group always shows the current year's challenge here and for the past two years this is where the Storybook quilts are located.
The SAQA challenge this year had the theme Threads that Bind and the format is 18" x 40" either horizontal or vertical. There are some great quilts here. Sorry my photos aren't great the dappled light made it difficult.
This is the last post for this year's quilt show. I hope you enjoyed the little tour and are maybe thinking of visiting someday if you haven't been to it yet.
The next group of photos are from the Storybook Quilts. This is the second year for this fundraiser where local quilters make pieces that measure about 24" x 30". The pages are turned by volunteers throughout the day giving visitors a chance to see and ask questions about each quilt. I didn't get photos of all the quilts, but you can see below there is quite a variety of styles. Something to please everyone!
