Today's post is all about some recent Christmas finishes. First up are these little tree ornaments I made a couple of weeks ago on a whim. I am offering these for sale at the Stitchin' Post Employee Holiday Boutique. It's in the shop and you can come by anytime to look at all the goodies. I just made 7 of these this year and I'm not sure I'll have time to make more. If you're interested you should get there soon! They are only $12.00! I also have some pincushions and drawstring bags for sale. Tomorrow I'll be bringing in some knitted goods to offer- hats, cowls and scarves.
Today I'm starting the Christmas decorating and this quilt, Crimson Tweed, will get the best spot in the house. This was Sue Spargo's block of the month in 2010. It took so long to finish because I'd get it out every Christmas and work on it just a bit. This summer I decided to finish it once and for all. I had it long arm quilted by Tracy Mertes who did a fabulous job! I love it, but I'm really just glad it's done.
Lastly, I started something new a few weeks ago. This is just a fun improv style scrappy quilt made from my homespun plaids in Christmas colors. I'm really having fun with it!
