Just checking in after another crazy week. Tomorrow I head to Portland to stay with Chloe who had surgery on Thursday. It was planned and Mark has been there with her. Now it's time to trade off and I'll get to see my girl again. This was a planned surgery and she did very well.
Meantime, here's a quick quilt I finished this week intending to donate to my quilt guild. When a friend announced a fundraiser with raffle for the local cross country skiing club, I knew it had to go there instead. You see, I've been taking cross country skiing lessons for a couple of weeks and I'm totally hooked. I'm now in the market for my own skis and can't wait to get out on the snow again. Last time I went was a bluebird day here. We've been getting a lot of them lately.
Here's the back. This is one of my batik stash busting quilts. I've made good progress with them and have more to show you when I get a chance. And this one has my favorite square in the whole quilt!
