Today's post is all about SAQA and Freddy Moran. First up is our Central Oregon SAQA map challenge quilt. These were set up in the Open Door's outdoor patio area. They looked so lovely among the plants and flowers. What a treat for anyone lucky enough to snag a table on quilt show day! These map quilts are of various areas anywhere in the world and range from realistic to abstract. You can read my original post about these quilts here.

This next bunch is from Freddy Moran's special exhibit. It's wonderful to see how Freddy uses color. Her quilts are bold, bright and happy. The yellow one below really stole the show!
