Ready for Santa!
We just got back from a week in Portland during the biggest snow storm in decades.
The city was eerily quiet. All sound muffled by the blanket of snow.
Most people gave up on driving in the snow and chains were required in all the downtown areas. However, there were a lot of people walking around town.
Most restaurants closed early and many shops and other places like OMSI were closed. We had other things to attend to so it didn't matter to us.
We're getting our fair share of snow here at home too. It's a winter wonderland! Merry Christmas!
