Greetings! I’ve been meaning to post here all summer, but I’ve been busy with a very important task for the past 2 months. The big news is that we are moving across the country to Massachusetts. This means that every single household item needs to be gone through to decide whether to move it, sell it, or give it away. Alas, I have so many quilts sitting on shelves that never see the light of day it seemed like a good time to sell some of them. I’ve filled my Etsy shop with over 30 quilts and textile art pieces. A selection of those available for sale are below, but there are too many to share here. I hope you’ll take a look!
Related to moving I also wanted to let you know that my Etsy shops will be closing September 28 for my daughter’s wedding. The shops may open again in October, but I can’t promise that as we will start packing at that point. We will be driving across country and I’m not sure yet exactly when we’ll leave Bend, but I expect to keep the shops closed until late November at the earliest. All that is to say if you were planning any holiday shopping it would be best to do it by the end of September. I expect the USPS to be just as slow this Christmas as last year. I don’t relish having to send holiday packages past the first week of December.
If you’ve been waiting for photos from the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, I plan to get to that blog post later this week. We also had the Mt Bachelor Quilt Show in the Park yesterday. It was a beautiful day so stay tuned for those photos too. It’s been a crazy summer for me, but I hope you are having a relaxing season wherever you are.
