A retreat, the flu and a trip away don't do me much good when it comes to blogging. I'm finally feeling like I'm back on track, though the cough remains. Could be a cold now, who knows? Anyway, this is a long overdue thank you to Krommama for this fabulous placemat swap. This package came just a few days into November, my birth month.
The little hand stamped cards were a special surprise and don't you just love that bit of stripey fabric?
But the greatest surprise of all was this fabulous place mat. It's got it all, the words, the free pieced bird and pumpkins. My favorite colors and it commemorates my birthday which will be on Thanksgiving this year, as it was when I was born. Sarah did some blog research to know how perfect this really is for me. Thank you so much, Sarah!
And now I'm just waiting for the big day next week to use it for the first time. I will have to be extra careful with the cranberry sauce I think. This one may need to be saved for the wall!
