Someone's got to do it! I've got big news today. First of all, two of my quilts were chosen for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative's May Online Auction. My #10,000 quilt, Shhh.... I also have #9500, Fine Feathered Friend, in the auction. Please spread the word about this fantastic fundraiser. The quilts in the auction this month are really wonderful. I see several I'd love to have in my own collection.
Now, for the really, really big news. I have been invited to be the Featured Quilter for the 2013 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show! Wow, I'm so honored to have been chosen. This event draws thousands of people from all over the country and the world. I'm glad I have 14 months to prepare. The past week has been so busy, I haven't had time to sit down and really think about it, but I'm sure some new ideas will start sprouting soon. So, save the date: July 13, 2013.
