This is one of the beasts I've been working on for my latest online class with Jude at Spirit Cloth. Jude's classes have been life changing for me. I can see myself working with these slow, handwork techniques as much as possible.
It's also led me to re-think this blog and what it's purpose is. While I will continue to knit, I have decided to keep my knitting activity at Ravelry for the time being. Anyone interested can look me up as knitonequilttoo. My blog will change to be primarily about quilting. For this reason, I am looking to change the url and blog name. I will try to give advance notice here of any change. While I get things worked out on this end, I will take a blog break for the next week or two. We've got some beautiful summer days ahead as well as a college sightseeing tour!
