I had a lovely afternoon in Sisters all by myself on Saturday. I spent a good long time in the Stitchin' Post, then as I was leaving discovered a brand new wool shop, called Baabaara's Wild and Wooly. They sell handspun wool, rovings and fleece. I asked about spinning lessons and they said they would come soon. In fact, she was already to give me a spindle lesson right there, but had sold the last spindle that morning. They have a nice list of free demonstrations and classes in April and will be doing things like felted eggs, dyeing, knitting, needle felting and wet felting. Very cool!
There's more tulip love around here. I couldn't resist the velvety tomato color of these beauties.
