We are on our first family trip since last Thanksgiving and we are having so much fun. With Mark traveling for work a lot lately, it's been hard to have family time. We left home Saturday morning, dropped the pup off at Grammy and Grampa's and drove to Seattle. It was raining (quite heavily at times) most of the way there, but was dry and rather warm in Seattle. It was perfect for a walk around the city, so we headed out to Pike Place Market. The market was actually closing up for the evening so we made a quick pass through. The flower sellers had the most amazing tulips!
We walked up to the monorail station and took the monorail to Seattle Center where we could walk down to the Old Spaghetti Factory. Do you think Ryan liked this turn of events?!
There is so much to see in a big city like this. We only had a few hours to walk around and have dinner, so we were completely spontaneous. Chloe said afterwards what a great time she had just walking around and exploring without an agenda.
This is the Experience Music Project. I couldn't resist that incredible magenta color shining at us as we got off the monorail.
Love this quote at the Seattle Children's Theater.
It was a wonderful evening!
