I finished the Clapotis the other day, blocked it and mailed it out to the lucky recipient yesterday. I think the colorway is beautiful, but the Karaoke yarn seems to be better suited to something else. I think I'll even try felting the leftovers.
For one thing, the drop stitches do not want to drop and it's a pain to pull them out one by one. That was my problem with the Noro Clapotis also (by the way, I've finally dropped all those stitches, but I haven't woven in the ends or blocked it). Also, Karaoke is very loosely spun and I fear that one good tug on a dropped stitch may result in a ripped Clapotis, not fun!
