Around the House

We had a busy weekend taking care of chores around the house.  Saturday was cleaning day.  On Sunday, Mark and I shopped for plants and pots for the garden.  Today, the weather finally turned nice enough to do something outside.

We planted about 16 pots, plus some dahlia tubers.  We have echinacea, black-eyed susan, shasta daisy, lupine, Russian sage, meadow sage, penstemon, two kinds of thyme, and some Iceland poppies.  We're hoping to have some plants left by tomorrow.  The deer keep raiding the yard, so we chose ones that are so-called deer-resistent.  We'll see!
