Week 3 with Prashant Miranda was a busy one for me, but I couldn't help starting something after watching his very inspiring videos. He talked about how to do a watercolor wash and about skies. Prashant's work was also very new to me, but I love the style of his videos and his sketches are really lovely. We got to see some of his travels in India!
Prash's demonstration of an ocean view with watercolor washes made me wish I lived near an ocean! I decided to go back to a couple of favorite photos from Cape Cod last summer. I liked the first one until I added some of the details which seem a bit heavy handed.
On the second one I was really pleased with how the sky came out.
As in each week so far, the lessons build on one another and there are every day pages that document life. This one was inspired by some of Koosje's pre painted pages. I did the watercolor part ahead of time, not knowing what I'd eventually draw on the page.
