I've been making quite a few blocks lately, for various causes. Most important of these are the blocks I've been making for the Bushfire Quilt Project (see the link in the sidebar). These liberated stars are so quick and fun to make. I'm using up a lot of fabric scraps with these.
You can see more of mine and a whole lot more on the BQP Flickr group. I even got a friend started on the liberated stars today, so I hope we'll have a bunch to send in by the end of the week.
This little appliqued house is for someone in my quilt guild. I guess wonky houses are a thing with me. I thought a little applique would be nice after all the piecing I've been doing.
Lastly, I got my name block done for Lazy Gal Tonya. She asked for these from people who have participated in her online "classes". It was fun to do and took only about an hour. It measures 7" x 18". I also have some orphan blocks to send her. By the way, if you haven't checked out Tonya's blog lately, you should because she 's got a wonderful account of her day with Gwen Marston! Lucky gal!
