Waiting for Sanity will be included in the Modern Quilt Guild exhibit at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles. The show is on from April 21 to July 1, 2017.
The four quilts above were accepted into QuiltCon 2017 in Savannah, GA February 23-26, 2017. Waiting for Sanity won a Judge's Choice award by Judge Kristy Daum.
Roundabout Bend is included in the exhibit "A View From Above," quilts created by Central Oregon artists in 2014, which will make an encore at Quiltworks, 926 NE Greenwood Ave., Bend. Opening night reception is Friday, Oct. 7 from 5 to 7 pm. The quilts will be on display for the month of October.
Tranquility and For the Watchers and Dreamers were juried into the Mid-Century Mod exhibit at QuiltFest Oasis in Palm Springs, CA October 6-8, 2016. They will also be at Pacific International Quilt Festival in Santa Clara, CA October 13-16, 2016. I am pleased to report that Tranquility won a Judge's Choice award!
The Spectrum of the Ordinary is featured in an article in Simply Moderne Magazine issue 5: First Steps in Improvisation by Riane Menardi. In the same issue Modern Improv Sampler is featured in an article with the other winners from QuiltCon 2016.
Celia's Raven (category- Whimsical) and Aussie Medallion (category- Hand Quilted) have been juried into AQS Syracuse July 27-30, 2016. Also, Aussie Medallion (category- Hand Quilted) and Love in the Digital Age (category- Wall Quilt Modern) have been juried into AQS Grand Rapids August 10-13, 2016.
