Hello!  I'm an artist living in beautiful Bend, Oregon.  I cannot pass a day without exploring my creativity.  I sketch, paint, knit, and sew by hand and machine. My work is influenced by animals, my environment, modern design, traditional quilts, and folk art.  Check out my Etsy shop to find original, affordable paintings and textile art.  Please consider signing up for my monthly newsletter and my journal.  You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

When not working in my home studio I may be found exploring with a camera and sketchbook in hand. I love to travel far and wide and have many new places on my bucket list as well as old favorites.  I am an animal lover and have a special fascination with birds.  You'll find realistic and fanciful versions of these creatures often show up in my art.  I even have a Master's degree in Avian Sciences, so it's something that runs deep.

I live with my husband, my adult son, our 12 year old pup, Scrabble, our parakeet, Max, and a fish named Mitchell.  I also have a grown daughter who's in grad school in California.  It's a busy life!
